ABOUT

WE'RE HERE FOR THE REAL THING

Many in our church have had powerful encounters with the revelation of God’s love, which caused some to leave previous Christian traditions, belief systems and religious lifestyles. We know what it’s like to question what we believe and totally change our minds about God. We’ve been there. We’re still there!

We hope we never get off the amazing roller coaster of discovering how good He is and how much He’s already blessed us. We know that the journey of faith IS the destination, and find joy in partnering with people on that road. The good, the bad. We’re all on the journey together.

BELIEFS

God is Good.

God has always loved us and always will, nothing I do can change that. Jesus came to show us the heart of the Father.

You might be wondering who we are…we are down to earth imperfect people just like you.  We love building relationships with people and absolutely believe that the Gospel is simple, and that God is totally in love the human race. Our dream is help change the way you see God.

We live in Southwest Springfield and are the

proud parents of two daughters. Our oldest daughter Jessica resides in Nixa with her husband Paul and our two precious grandchildren Reni & Jaxon.  Our youngest daughter Ashley lives in the Springfield area with her husband Jacob.

We love doing life together!

We started attending Turning Point Church on Super Bowl Sunday in 2007.  That day, Terry preached a message called, 'God is Not Mad at You!' From that moment on, we were hooked. After leaving a performance-based church, to hearing this good news for the first time ... TPC just felt like home.

My wife Lydia and I both live in Branson, MO area. She works at the local Lowes, and me, I own a barbershop. We have two incredible children Stephen & Faith, who both reside in the Branson area as well.

Turning Point is a place where you are accepted right where you are & loved through your process of change. It challenges you to search out for yourself, like the early church did, to discover the relationship God wants to have with you. This will change your life. Relationship is so important.

Turning Point Church is not only a church, but a family. It doesn’t matter if you’ve been there 10 years or 6 months, everyone is so welcoming and loving! They have a wonderful children’s program. Not to mention the great teachings from Pastors Terry and Robin! Come to enjoy great fellowship, powerful messages and to feel accepted just as you are!
